The group

The ITI group is a family structure created in 1989 in the Saint-Étienne area in the heart of the Rhône-Alpes Region. ITI is an organisation that encompasses a wide range of skills, enabling it to rationalise its clients’ management of suppliers to become their sole interlocutor. The ITI industrial group is also structured to be able to offer solutions adapted to each client, thanks to a multitude of expertly planned offers.

THE PRODUCTION SITES

THE PRODUCTION SITES ITI is an industrial group with 5 sites in the Rhône-Alpes region, mainly situated in the area around Saint-Étienne. This solid local base is a considerable strength for the company. This historically industrial region concentrates all the metalworking trades in one place. This proximity gives the ITI group a level of responsiveness and agility ideal to meet the different needs of its customers.

SOURCING STRUCTURES

The ITI group has developed a network of sourcing structures abroad. The industrial group identified a need very early on to be able to offer solutions abroad, for economic reasons, for the skills, but also to be able to meet the need to accompany clients on foreign markets.

THE LOGISTICS PLATFORM

The ITI group manufactures parts from blueprints as well as assemblies and subassemblies for its customers. But the group aims to offer a global service including the management of tasks up and downstream of the manufacturing process itself. ITI's aim is to leave the customer free to concentrate only on the design and sale of its product. KEY FIGURES

The creation of the group was motivated by an emerging trend in industrial companies: the need to rationalise their supplier portfolio. As they tried to reduce their costs, companies became aware of the financial burden of managing their suppliers, an average of €45,000 a year per supplier. Their solution was to reduce the number of suppliers and the number of order lines.
